This One’s for the Birds, and I’m Happy About It!

During our recent trip to the Great Lakes, I was surprised by how many seagulls were on the beaches in Ohio and Michigan.  I really enjoyed interacting with them, as they are definitely not shy!

They gracefully turn, twist, and hover in the air in ways that we as humans can only imagine doing.

Isn’t nature amazing?  There are so many simple pleasures to enjoy in this varied world in which we live.

“Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?

~Matthew 6:25-26

I’m so thankful I have the health and means to get out and enjoy moments like these.

Photo 101: Edge 2.0

Day 18 goal:  Use a photo editing program to align straight edges in your photo to be perfectly vertical or horizontal.

three floor tile patterns showing through two doorways

It was hard to choose which edge to align in this photo. I ended up using the farthest doorway as a guide, because everything else I tried looked strange.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

~ Matthew 7:7
