Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.
Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
~James 5:13
My family and I have been making up tunes to help us memorize scripture. I thought, “Some of these songs sound great. Why don’t I make them into videos and share them with others?” So…here they are!
Leviticus 11:45 My hubby joined me in singing this tune created by my musical daughter.
2 Samuel 22:2-4 Here’s the first song we made into a video. My daughter came up with this tune.
Psalm 98:8-9 My daughter invented this tune, as well. The background photo is beautiful Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan.
Romans 8:28-32 I created this tune and video to fulfill a request by a fellow blogger. The image was taken during a fun photography field trip my family and I enjoyed in spring 2015.
More videos will be added to this page over time. If you have any requests, let me know! Have a blessed day!

Here’s a bonus video that goes with the theme of this Merry Hearts Medicine blog. It’s a lot longer than the song videos, but it’s worth watching if you have the time. (And, you don’t have to watch it all in one sitting. 🙂 )
You both have nice voices. Keep on singing – it makes a body happy.

Thanks! We’ll work on Romans 8:28. That’s a very encouraging verse.

I can hardly believe I had enough free time to work on your request today! I included a few extra verses, and it took a while for me to come up with a tune that fit the different sentence lengths. The wording is still a little awkward, but I think it will do. The background photo for the video brings back great memories for me of a day out with my family. 🙂
Thanks for your suggestion, and I hope you enjoy the tune. Any critique is appreciated.

Beautiful! I can’t believe you were able to come up with a tune so quickly. I love that verse, what really resonates with me is “that all things work together for our good” good or bad. God has his hands on us every minute of every day. Thank you so much! Many blessings pour into your days! Love and hugs!

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Practice it every day, and there will be an oral quiz at the end of the week. Lol That’s the homeschool mom coming out in me. 😉

Ok, thanks! I won’t get to this one as quickly, but I’ll write myself a note to start on it as soon as I can. ?)
