Photo 101: Big 2.0

Day 7 goal:  Try an unusual point of view or angle for your shots.

These photos are from 2007, but I stumbled across them and thought they conveyed the theme for today quite well.

This is the main entrance chamber to “Blowing Cave” near Batesville, Arkansas. The cave continues for miles through many twists, turns, crevices and smaller chambers.

I was told that in the early 1900s they used to have dances in this initial chamber. Spelunkers and scavengers have since dug up the floor, making it very uneven, and have written graffiti on many of the walls.

To show you how “Big” this cave really is, those two tiny figures near the entrance are people.

My God is so BIG, so STRONG, and so MIGHTY!  There’s nothing my God cannot do!

The mountains are His, the valleys are His, the stars are His handiwork, too.

My God is so BIG, so STRONG, and so MIGHTY!  There’s nothing my God cannot do!

  1. Nice post. Love the pictures from inside the cave looking out to the light. Yes, God is Big, Strong, and Mighty. Too bad so many human beings do not realize how Good and Loving God is, if you just give your life to Him. Someday they will know.
